The entire liberal project aims to camouflage this contradiction, to appeal to all classes, and reconcile irreconcilable conflicts - hence the emphasis on freedom of the individual. It positions itself in opposition to fascism and conservatism, but in fact there is a great deal of overlap and blurring of lines. Liberalism is the most chameleon-like of ideologies - it tries to hide itself by appearing 'natural'. So, when we (communists) say "socialism or barbarism", this is what we mean. There is no compromise, and there is only one solution. Reform cannot resolve the ultimate class contradiction, because the ruling class lives parasitically upon the working class. Either the ruling class get their way, and continue to exploit, or the working class get what they want and overthrow them. ⁠⁠[19:18, 1/8/2017] Com Ajay: ⁠⁠⁠इंकलाब जिन्‍दाबाद का नारा देने वाले हसरत मोहानी की 142वीं जयंती पर इंकलाबी सलाम इंकलाब जिंदाबाद के जिस नारे को लगाकर भगत सिंह और साथियों ने हर किस्म के अन्याय के खिलाफ लड़ाई का प्रतीक बना दिया, उसको Long Live Revolution के तर्जुमे के रूप में देने वाले थे मौलाना हसरत मोहानी। उन्नाव के पास मोहान के छोटे जमींदार परिवार में 1 जनवरी 1875 में जन्मे और अलीगढ में पढ़े हसरत मोहानी भारत की गंगा-जमुनी तहजीब के चलते-फिरते प्रतीक, संपादक, राजनीतिक कार्यकर्त्ता, शायर बहुत रूप में अपनी छाप छोड़ने वाले व्यक्तित्व हैं। 1908 में अपने अख़बार उर्दू-ए-मुअल्ला में अंग्रेजी नीतियों के खिलाफ अज्ञात नाम से लेख छापने पर sedition के जुर्म में 12 महीने कैद बामशक्कत की सजा भुगती क्योंकि एक सच्चे संपादक के नाते लेखक का नाम उजागर नहीं किया। बामशक्कत का मतलब एक और कैदी के साथ मिलकर रोज हाथ चक्की से 37 किलो अनाज पीसना पड़ता था। उसी वक्त लिखी गई गजल का लिंक नीचे है। 1921 में अहमदाबाद में तीन प्रमुख राजनीतिक दलों का सम्मलेन एक ही सप्ताह में हुआ। पहले खिलाफत कांफ्रेंस में हसरत ने पूर्ण स्वराज का प्रस्ताव पास करा लिया लेकिन बाद में फिर अंग्रेजी डर से प्रस्ताव पलट दिया गया। कांग्रेस की विषय समिति में भी हसरत ने रामप्रसाद बिस्मिल, आदि के सहयोग से पूर्ण स्वराज का प्रस्ताव पेश किया लेकिन 'महात्माजी' को जैसे ही पता चला तुरंत दौड़कर आये और प्रस्ताव को पास होने से रुकवा दिया। इसके बाद मुस्लिम लीग के सम्मलेन में भी अपने अध्यक्षीय भाषण में यही कहा लेकिन वहां भी वही नतीजा। नतीजे में हुई अहमदाबाद में ही गिरफ़्तारी और दो साल से ज्यादा फिर जेल, लेकिन कांग्रेसियों की तरह आरामवाली नहीं बल्कि सी क्लास की बामशक्कत। इस बार हसरत ने विरोध में काम करने से मना कर दिया तथा और भारी सजाऐं भुगतीं। 1925 में जब कम्युनिस्ट पार्टी की स्थापना के लिए कानपुर में सम्मलेन बुलाया गया तो हसरत मोहानी इसके आयोजनकर्ताओं में तथा स्वागत समिति के अध्यक्ष थे और तभी इन्होंने 'इंकलाब जिंदाबाद' का नारा दिया। हसरत मोहानी संविधान सभा के अकेले सदस्य थे जिन्होंने उसके मौजूद रूप में उस पर दस्तखत करने से इंकार कर दिया था। उन्होंने ही ये पंक्तियाँ भी लिखीं थीं: गाँधी की तरह बैठ के कातेंगे क्यूँ चरखा लेनिन की तरह देंगे दुनिया को हिला हम गजल का लिंक - https://rekhta.org/ghazals/hai-mashq-e-sukhan-jaarii-chakkii-kii-mashaqqat-bhii-hasrat-mohani-ghazals मूल पोस्‍ट - Mukesh Tyagi ( https://www.facebook.com/MukeshK.Tyagi )
